Site Release Notes / Sample Contests and Online Judge Testing

Hello and welcome to ANCO! We hope you enjoy our competitions and our site.

We published this site on June 1, 2026, which was only a few days ago at the time of writing this announcement. Consequently, we wish to do some "beta testing" for this website's most important feature, which is the contest portal and online judge, soon.

To ensure that everyone's competition process goes smoothly, a "Sample Contest" will soon be added, which will be available to everyone that has an ANCO account. The purpose of this Sample Contest is purely to make sure that ANCO's online judge is working for the contestant, and to familiarize the user with how ANCO's contest portal works. (Thus, we strongly urge all contestants to do the Sample Contest prior to doing their first actual contest!)

In addition to adding the "Sample Contest," we will also be making sure that our online judge can handle high traffic loads that demand lots of RAM (e.g. multiple submissions that occur at the same time, unhealthy amounts of submissions during one contest, etc.) soon.
